- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – this is at the top as it is likely the most important qualification
- Comfortable programming in C++ or Golang
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a desire to work within a highly collaborative, fast-paced team
- Passionate about delivering high-quality software, with automated monitoring and recovery to minimize extinguish fires before they happen
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent similar experience
- 2+ years of experience in data transfer technologies demonstrated through previous projects
- 5+ years overall software development experience, including experience building secure software applications
- Intimate knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP
- Strong debugging skills
- Familiarity with cloud storage (AWS, Azure, Google) and or deploying software to the cloud
